Safety Audits & Assessments

Know what needs attention—and what to do next.

MRA Consulting LLC conducts workplace safety audits and assessments that connect observed conditions with practical corrective actions. We help your team evaluate hazards, review selected compliance requirements, and focus resources on meaningful improvements—not simply collect inspection checklists.

your operation

your operation

We tailor the assessment to your facility, work activities, workforce, equipment, and concerns. The review compares relevant documents and procedures with the conditions employees encounter at work.

Facility safety audits

Facility safety audits

Review agreed areas such as housekeeping, access and egress, material storage, machine guarding, hazardous energy, chemical handling, emergency equipment, and employee protective measures. Coverage is tailored to the facility and project scope.

Program and record reviews

Program and record reviews

Compare selected written programs, training records, inspections, and corrective-action records with workplace practices. Identify missing documentation, unclear responsibilities, and gaps between the program and its implementation.

Job hazard analyses and risk assessments

Job hazard analyses and risk assessments

Break selected tasks into work steps, identify associated hazards, and evaluate existing controls. Develop practical recommendations with input from the employees and supervisors who understand the work.

Targeted and follow-up assessments

Targeted and follow-up assessments

Focus on a concern such as LOTO, forklift and pedestrian interactions, contractor safety, or chemical storage. A separate follow-up review can evaluate completed actions and identify remaining issues.

What you receive

Your agreed package may include:

Findings identify the reviewed area or task and the next action, with room for your team to assign owners and completion dates.

When this service
is a good fit

Use this service before opening or expanding a facility, after operational changes, when findings keep recurring, or when leadership needs an independent view of selected safety risks. It can also supplement inspections already performed by your internal team.

How the engagement works

  • Set the audit criteria

We agree on locations, topics, records, work shifts, and whether the review covers regulatory requirements, internal expectations, or both.

  • Observe and discuss

We review records, walk the agreed areas, and discuss tasks with available personnel. Urgent concerns are communicated promptly to your designated contact.

  • Explain the findings

We present the results, distinguish immediate concerns from longer-term improvements, and discuss practical ways to track corrective actions.

Turn findings into a practical
improvement plan

Share your facility type, location, and main concerns. MRA will help you select a focused assessment or broader audit with clear deliverables.

Frequently asked questions

For MRA engagements, an inspection generally focuses on conditions observed in a defined area. An audit can also examine program requirements, responsibilities, records, and implementation. The proposal identifies the type of review you will receive.

Yes. Our reporting is designed to include actionable recommendations, not only a list of deficiencies. Detailed engineering, specialist testing, and program development are identified separately when they are needed.

Yes, when a follow-up review is included or added to the engagement. We can review closure records and, where appropriate, observe the changed condition. A document review alone does not establish that a physical correction is effective.
